Member Code of Conduct

Welcome to Worn Edit

Worn Edit is a local swapping community built on trust, care, and a shared commitment to circular fashion. Every swap is a personal exchange, and the experience depends on how we show up for one another.

This Code of Conduct describes the standards we hold for all members. It is designed to protect the community, maintain trust between members, and ensure that each swap is safe, fair, and respectful.

By using Worn Edit, you agree to comply with this Code of Conduct and with all related policies referenced here. Please review this document carefully.

Violations of the Code of Conduct may lead to warnings, account pauses, or removal from the community, as determined by Worn Edit in its discretion.

Core Membership Values

People First

Worn Edit is a community of real people. We expect members to treat each other with respect, patience, and care. This includes being thoughtful in tone, assuming good intent, and communicating directly and constructively when issues arise.

Respect the Exchange

Swaps only work when members are honest about items, responsive in communication, and reliable with pickups. Accuracy and accountability are essential to building trust and ensuring a positive experience for both parties.

Clear Communication

Members are expected to communicate early and clearly. If you are running late, unsure, or need help, say so as soon as possible. Proactive communication prevents misunderstandings and protects everyone’s time.

Give to Get

The community thrives when members contribute quality items, accurate listings, and thoughtful interactions. The more members contribute to the network, the more the network works for them.

Community Guidelines

Being part of Worn Edit means respecting privacy, fostering safety, and acting with integrity in all interactions. These rules apply on the platform and in any Worn Edit community spaces.

General Expectations

  • Keep member information private. Only connect off-platform with mutual consent. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
  • Keep swaps on Worn Edit. Do not arrange off-platform exchanges or payments.
  • Uphold mutual respect. Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation are not tolerated.
  • Be honest in listings, requests, and messages. Misrepresentation harms trust.
  • Keep community spaces helpful, relevant, and respectful.

Do’s and Don’ts for Community Spaces

  • Do keep messages constructive and on-topic.
  • Do respect boundaries if members do not respond.
  • Do use the right channels for the right topics.
  • Do report urgent swap issues through support instead of community channels.
  • Don’t share personal information or private addresses.
  • Don’t promote outside businesses or solicit services.
  • Don’t coordinate swaps outside Worn Edit.
  • Don’t post content that is threatening, harassing, or discriminatory.

If you need time-sensitive help for an active swap, contact Worn Edit support rather than relying on community spaces.
